If in the last 10 years the northern area has concentrated 62% of new office supplies, the situation is about to change due to overcrowding and the start of major projects in the West. Of the 382,800 m2 of offices currently under construction, 200,000 m2 (52%) are located in the west of Bucharest, in the Grozăveşti and Polytechnic areas. The core area accounts for 28% of the stock under construction, while the northern one accounts for only 20% of the announced deliveries for 2017-2018.

ACTIV Property Services brokered the lease of a 600 sq m retail space to Diego, located in „Mega Mobila Mall”, the new furniture and home improvements center in Brasov.

The retailer specialized in home improvements products (carpet, PVC, parquet, curtains) will open their first shop from Brasov in „Mega Mobila Mall”, being part of the company’s expansion at national level which now counts on 31 stores.

Timisoara industrial market has recorded a new excellent year in 2016 following a 36% year/year growth in the volume of major leases that reached 72,000 sq m. This is the 2nd highest volume of annual take-up after the 2014 record of 90,000 sq m.

Bucharest's shopping centre stock has increased to 965,200 sq m GLA following the opening of ParkLake (70,000 sq m).

Shopping centre density has outpaced for the first time 500 sq m / 1,000 inhabitants, with the new value of 512 sq m / 1,000 inhabitants being higher than in Budapest (469) and coming close to the level in Prague (541). Highest densities in Central and Eastern Europe are found in Bratislava (828) and Warsaw (676).
